A respected football agent has rubbished suggestions that Julio Cesar could leave Inter for Manchester United in the summer.

The Brazilian international has been paired with the Old Trafford outfit, but Silvano Martina, a former ‘keeper who represents Gigi Buffon amongst others, says it won’t happen.

“I have to be honest, in my opinion there isn’t even a one per cent chance that such a move will take place,” Martina told calcionews24.com.

“It seems absurd to me. Manchester United spent €25m on David De Gea and I don’t think it is likely that they’ll bring in Julio Cesar alongside him.

“That would only complicate matters for Manchester United as De Gea would totally lose all tranquillity.

“It’s a move that can’t happen.”

Julio Cesar, 32, is one of Inter's highest earners given his €4.5m a season salary and he has a contract at San Siro until 2014.
