The 33-year-old has been paired with a move to former club Flamengo, but the stopper insists his mind is on other issues.

“I’m not thinking about these rumours,” stated the former international centre-back. “I’m just focused exclusively on Roma right now.”

Juan, signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2007, is only contracted to the Stadio Olimpico outfit until June 2013.

If the club don’t renew his deal in the summer, they will run the risk of losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Juan has endured an injury-affected campaign which has limited him to just 16 Serie A appearances in which he has bagged three goals.
