Fiorentina striker Luka Jovic has already scored more goals for the Tuscans than Real Madrid despite having played only 45 minutes with his new club.
The Serbia international completed a permanent transfer to the Stadio Franchi last week, signing a two-year deal with La Viola worth €2.5m per season
He has an option to extend for two more years in 2024 at €5m per season.
He scored four goals on his debut with the Serie A side on Tuesday, despite playing only 45 minutes against Real Vicenza.
It was only a friendly encounter against a non-professional team, but Jovic’s scintillating debut has already made Fiorentina fans dream.
Jovic joined Real Madrid for €65m in 2018 but failed to justify his price tag, scoring just three goals in 51 appearances with the La Liga giants. Last season, he was sent out on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt when he netted four goals in 18 matches.
