Reports suggest Pantaleo Corvino’s appointment at Fiorentina could see Inter’s Stevan Jovetic and Adem Ljajic return.

The pair have failed to make a major impact with the San Siro club this season and are believed to be set for the exit door.

Sport.rs has reported today that Bologna sporting director Corvino is set to take over at La Viola and could bring the Nerazzurri pair with him.

The director’s strong relationship with the agent of the two players, Fali Ramadani, could be an advantage.

However, Manchester City and Roma, who own Jovetic and Ljajic respectively, are unlikely to let the players leave for a low price.

Jovetic scored six goals in 26 Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, while Ljajic bagged three in 26 outings.

Such a move would mark a return for both players, as Jovetic represented the Florence club from 2008-2013 and Ljajic wore the Viola shirt from 2010-2013.
