Stevan Jovetic is expected to fly in for his Inter medical on Tuesday for a total €15m transfer (£10.6m).

The 25-year-old Montenegro international was brought in by Roberto Mancini, but has dropped down the pecking order over the last term.

He was even left out of the Champions League squad in January, a decision that cemented his desire to leave Manchester.

The Corriere dello Sport, Sky Sport Italia and other sources in the Peninsula are confident Jovetic will undergo a medical with Inter on Tuesday.

The deal is a two-year loan for €3m with a mandatory option to buy in 2017 for a further €12m.

This is practically half what Manchester City paid to get Jo-Jo from Fiorentina in 2013.

It’s even reported that Jovetic told Roma players that he will be joining Inter ahead of Manchester City’s International Champions Cup game in Australia this week.
