“I don’t know if the Montenegro Coach will use him against Belarus, but the player is fine and we consider him to be available,” Piero Volpi told Premium Sport.

Inter’s chief of medical staff confirms Stevan Jovetic is “available” to play for Montenegro, and Mauro Icardi will be back for Torino.

Jovetic hasn’t featured for the Nerazzurri since February 20, but has nevertheless been called-up for international duty.

“I don’t know if the Montenegro Coach will use him against Belarus, but the player is fine and we consider him to be available,” Piero Volpi told Premium Sport.

“When he returns to Appiano [Gentile, the Inter training ground] he’ll be ready to take the field.

“As for Mauro Icardi, his functional recovery is proceeding very well. He’ll be back with the group on Tuesday or Wednesday and there should be no problem for the Torino game.

“Putting him in against Roma would have been too risky, even if he’d given given his full availability for what would have been a miraculous recovery.

“Geoffrey Kondogbia? His injury was in the triceps, a very delicate point, so that slowed his recovery.

“If everything goes well he should be available at the beginning of next week.”
