Napoli midfielder Jorginho says Maurizio Sarri is ‘a great teacher’ and hopes for an Italy call-up.

The playmaker is also able to play for Brazil but favours the Azzurri, although CT Antonio Conte is yet to hand him a cap.

The 23-year-old praised the Partenopei’s start to the season and believes that they ‘can always score goals sooner or later’.

“We’ve had a fantastic start to the season so far, if we’re doing so well it’s down to everyone,” Jorginho said to Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We defend well and with our attacking potential we can always score goals sooner or later.

“For me the most important thing is to do well with Napoli, then the Azzurri becomes a consequence.”
