Italy international Jorginho revealed the turning point in Arsenal’s key victory against Aston Villa while Gunners’ fans trolled Chelsea on social media.

Jorginho moved to Emirates Stadium on the deadline day of the January window from Chelsea for circa €13m. He had six months left in his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The ex-Napoli and Hellas Verona midfielder played a crucial role in Arsenal’s 4-2 win against Aston Villa on Saturday. He was instrumental to the Gunners’ victory with a late shot that hit the crossbar and bounced onto the back of Martinez’s head before going in.

Jorginho was also named Man Of The Match at Villa Park.

“That’s why it’s the best league in the world. It’s just beautiful,” the Italian midfielder told BT Sport after the final whistle (via TalkSport).

“It’s a very important [win], after the last results we had and the start wasn’t easy. We were not producing our game.

“But we came in at half-time and had a talk, and then we went back to doing the basics that we needed to do, and we changed the game.”

The 31-year-old has already made three appearances for the Gunners, starting in the last two Premier League games.

Arsenal fans seem to be delighted with the impact of the Italy international at the Emirates and trolled Chelsea on social media following Saturday’s victory, which keeps their title hopes alive.
