Juventus and Chelsea have allegedly started talks about a possible swap deal involving Miralem Pjanic and Jorginho.

The Brazilian-born Italy international, who followed the Bianconeri coach Sarri from Napoli to Stamford Bridge in July 2018, has been linked with a return to Italy and a reunion with the former Partenopei boss.

Pjanic seemed set for a transfer to Barcelona this summer and allegedly agreed on a move to Catalonia, but The Guardian claims the Blues and the Old Lady have ‘begun negotiations’ about a possible exchange deal in the upcoming transfer market.

The report highlights that Barcelona midfielder Arthur has shown no interest in moving to Serie A and therefor quashed the rumoured deal with the Blaugrana.

Jorginho, who previously played three years under Sarri at the San Paolo, has impressed under Frank Lampard’s reign in London, contributing four goals and two assists in his 26 Premier League appearances this term.

Pjanic has struggled to convince the new coach at Allianz Stadium and can be sacrificed to help Sarri reunite with the Azzurri star.
