After Ashley Cole, it’s reported Roma are looking to England again with a bid for Liverpool’s Glen Johnson.
The 30-year-old is on the last season of his contract at Anfield and will have to be sold in January to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
The Sunday Mirror pointed out Johnson shares an agent with Cole, who joined Roma on a Bosman this summer.
It is claimed the Giallorossi would be willing to pay £2m to prise right-back Johnson from Liverpool mid-season.

However, Italian media are doubtful Roma would be prepared to pay both that sum and his £110,000 per week wages.
Roma already have Brazil international Douglas Maicon in that position, plus Greek international Vasilis Torosidis.
