Cagliari forward Joao Pedro has reportedly agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce and will have his medical tomorrow, beating interest from Galatasaray.

The striker was down to the final year of his contract in Sardinia and had to move on following their relegation to Serie B.

He received several proposals, including from Torino, Salernitana, Monza, Valencia and Galatasaray, but Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more are confident he has now agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce.

Joao Pedro is expected in Istanbul tomorrow, where he will have his medical before signing the contract.

It is believed to be a transfer fee of €6.5m plus add-ons and the Brazil-born Italy international will pen a three-year deal.

The 30-year-old striker had been at Cagliari since 2014 and scored 71 goals in 217 Serie A appearances, along with 2- assists.

Last season, Joao Pedro found the net 13 times in 37 Serie A games, but was unable to prevent their relegation.
