Cagliari have Joao Pedro back in their squad after sitting out a six-month ban for a failed doping test.

The Brazilian tested positive for a diuretic after a 0-0 draw with Sassuolo on February 11, then again a week later following a 2-1 defeat to Chievo.

The request had been for a four-year ban from the Antidoping Prosecutor, but he was eventually suspended for just six months.

That ban is due to expire on September 15, meaning Joao Pedro will be available again for the next Serie A match against Milan after the break for international duty.
