This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Premier League club have agreed to pay €1.1m for the loan, during which they will pay 100 per cent of his salary.

An agreement was found yesterday after a long meeting with representatives from the Hammers and all that remains is for owners Suning Group to official sign off on it.

With Gabriel Barbosa also set to be loaned back to Santos, Gazzetta points out that the two players brought by Kia Joorabchian are both set to leave after 18 months.

The Beneamata spent over €75m on the pair, but neither has impressed in Serie A.
