Joao Mario says he is relishing the opportunity of playing in a “very nice and interesting tournament” like Serie A after Inter’s 2-0 win at Empoli.

“We played as a team, now we have to find consistency and try to win again on Sunday,” he told Premium Sport after the game.

“We respect everyone, but we must always take to the pitch with the right mentality.
“De Boer? I met him just a month ago, he’s growing with us and working to transmit his ideas to us.
“Serie A is a very nice and interesting competition, I’m trying to give the best of myself in every game and I hope to always improve my performance.”
