Javi Martinez is confident he’ll be ready to play for Bayern Munich in the Champions League against Juventus.

The defender underwent meniscus surgery in January and missed the first leg, which ended 2-2 in Turin.

Today he resumed training with the ball for the first time and is hopeful he can feature in the decider on March 16.

“I feel very good and don’t feel any pain,” he told reporters.

The Spaniard can play in defence or midfield when needed.
