Monaco Coach Leonardo Jardim was “proud of our two performances” against Juventus in the Champions League.

The Principality club was beaten 1-0 in Turin by a contentious penalty and failed to get beyond 0-0 on home turf.

“I am disappointed with the result, but proud of our two performances,” said Jardim in a Press conference.

He was furious after the first leg penalty, so was asked about a possible Geoffrey Kondogbia spot-kick in this game.

“I will leave you journalists to debate the refereeing. That is not my role.

“After this excellent Champions League campaign, we represented France and Monaco well.

“We showed all of Europe that we can play good football. Now we have to focus on achieving our targets in Ligue 1.”
