Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino will reportedly leave the club in January, with Sampdoria and Bologna linked.

The 30-year-old is believed to not feature in Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s plans and has made only two appearances for the Rossoneri this season.

La Reppublica has reported today that the Italy international’s options could be limited by his high salary demands of €1.9m per season.

However, Nocerino’s current deal with the San Siro giants expires next June and so the winter market is their last chance to cash in.

However, Nocerino’s current deal with the San Siro giants expires next June and so the winter market is their last chance to cash in.

The newspaper believes the player could be willing to lower his demands or spread his payment over two or three years, and that above all he’s looking to become a central figure again.

Samp appear the most likely contenders and are believed to have spoken to Nocerino in the final days of the summer window.

However, struggling Bologna could be in the market for more experienced players to help them in their bid to stay up after returning to Serie A in the summer.
