However, the playmaker, who arrived at Stadio Olimpico this summer from Verona, is confident that the Lupi can go all the way this time out.
“Juventus are a great team, there’s no doubt about that,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“But we are working hard to be at the same level, if not higher, as them.
“Our goal is to win the championship – it’s as simple as that.
“But we’re under no illusions. It’s going to take a lot of sweat and a lot of hard work.”
