Juan Iturbe has returned to Roma, and wants to stay – “I really want to get to know Luciano Spalletti”.
The winger joined the Giallorossi for a €22m fee in the summer of 2014, but failed to convince then-Coach Rudi Garcia.
Having spent the second half of lasts season on loan at English side Bournemouth, the 23-year-old has returned to Italy for pre-season.
“Sometimes it’s nice to go away and come back with your head right,” Iturbe told reporters.

“I had a good experience in England, but I’m back to stay and I want to get to know my new teammates.
“Have I talked with Spalletti? Not yet. Let’s see when we can talk and set things straight. I really want to get to know him, when I was away I followed things and he’s proven himself to be a great Coach.
“He took over a Roma which wasn’t playing well and proved his worth.”
