New Milan signing Charles De Ketelaere is expected to start his first game with the Rossoneri against Bologna this weekend, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgium starlet joined the Serie A champions from Club Brugge this summer and collected two appearances as a substitute in the first two games of the season against Udinese and Atalanta.

However, according to Gazzetta, the 21-year-old is now the favourite to start against Bologna on Saturday night. Stefano Pioli picked Brahim Diaz in a Trequartista role in the first two matches of the season, but the Spaniard will likely be replaced when Sinisa Mihajlovic’s boys travel to San Siro over the weekend.

Pioli said on Saturday night that CDK is ‘improving’ and is adapting to Milan’s pace and intensity.

“He will give us satisfaction, we should not be in a hurry, but he’ll entertain us,” the coach added.

De Ketalaere, 21, scored 25 goals in 120 appearances with Club Brugge before joining Milan for €32m this summer. He has collected 51 minutes in his first two appearances with the Rossoneri this season.
