There are a few doubts, as Daniele Rugani or Angelo Ogbonna will partner Leonardo Bonucci in central defence in the absence of injured Giorgio Chiellini.

Marco Parolo of Lazio is facing a local derby with Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini for a starting spot, but it’s predicted to be a very creative pairing of Napoli’s Jorginho and Verratti of PSG.

In attack, Antonio Candreva seems to have won the race with Federico Chiesa for the right side of the trident, with Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne confirmed starters.

Italy (probable): Buffon; Florenzi, Rugani (Ogbonna), Bonucci, Spinazzola; Parolo (Pellegrini), Jorginho, Verratti; Candreva, Immobile, Insigne
