Italy have climbed two places to sixth in the latest FIFA world rankings after their impressive Confederations Cup campaign.

But Cesare Prandelli’s men have been rewarded for their notable summer performances, as well as their World Cup qualifying results by climbing to sixth in the rankings – above the likes of Portugal, Brazil and England.

La Roja have maintained their place at the top of the list, whilst Germany and Colombia make up the top three.
