Fabio Quagliarella scored finally ended the run of 18 Italy goals scored by 18 different players with his brace against Liechtenstein.

The Sampdoria striker found the net with two penalties in this evening’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Parma.

Until that second spot-kick, the Azzurri’s previous 18 goals came from 18 different scorers, stretching back to the last time they faced Liechtenstein on June 11, 2017.

Sensi got his first ever Italy goal this evening, while Verratti's only previous strike was in a 1-1 friendly with the Netherlands in February 2013.
