Italy have climbed above Wales in the FIFA World Rankings after the latest international break, and now sit 18th.

The Azzurri fell out of the top 20 for the first time ever earlier this year, as missing out on the World Cup took them to a worst-ever ranking.

The November international break brought a Nations League draw with Poland and a friendly win over the USA, and that proved enough to move above Wales.

Italy now sit 18th in the rankings, one place above Giggs’ side and a place behind Mexico.
