Giampiero Ventura will be officially presented as Italy CT on Tuesday, the FIGC has announced.
The former Torino Coach has already been confirmed as Antonio Conte’s replacement on the Azzurri bench, with Conte leaving to join Chelsea.
Ventura’s first match in charge will be a friendly against France in Bari on September 1, and the date of his official presentation has now been confirmed.
The 68-year-old will be introduced to the media at Coverciano on July 19 at 4pm local time, following a meeting of the Federal Council.
