Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly rejected a €50m annual salary from Hebei China Fortune.

Last season’s Serie A top-scorer doesn’t intend to renew his contract with the Vesuviani, sparking interest from clubs across Europe.

Arsenal are believed to be offering €65m plus Olivier Giroud, but Corriere dello Sport believes the Neapolitans will only accept the €94m release clause, ruling out any exchanges.

Meanwhile, Il Mattino reports that the Argentinian international has rejected a huge offer from the Far East.
