The FIGC has announced that Italy’s pre-Euro 2016 friendly with Finland will be played in Verona.

As part of CT Antonio Conte’s preparations for the tournament in France this summer, the Azzurri will face Scotland and the Finns.

The match against Gordon Strachan’s Scots had already been confirmed for Malta, but the venue for the Finland match was undecided.

Today it has been announced that the game will be played at Stadio Bentegodi in Verona on June 6 at 19.45 GMT.

This will be the Azzurri’s first visit to Verona since April 22, 1989 which saw a 1-1 draw with Uruguay.
