Vincenzo Italiano warns Fiorentina need ‘the best version of ourselves’ to get the better of Milan tomorrow and has one injury absentee.

It kicks off at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday at 19.45 GMT.

There is a full squad to choose from, with the exception of Aleksa Terzic, who sustained a muscular strain and could be out for several weeks, as Nikola Milenkovic is recovered and available.

“It’s going to be a difficult game, we know the quality of the opponent, who have got back to putting in great performances recently,” Italiano told the official Fiorentina website.

“We must show the best version of ourselves in attitude, approach and quality, which we showed only in part against Verona. The only way to get the better of Milan is to put in a top level performance.”

Fiorentina have been a Jekyll and Hyde team this season, excelling in the Europa Conference League and reaching the Coppa Italia semi-final against Cremonese, but at the expense of some disappointing Serie A results.

“Concentration will be fundamental, as well as making sure there will be room for everyone to step up. I see improvements in our finishing too and am happy with 11 goals in four games, that will boost our confidence.”
