The Biancocelesti have been linked with the centre-back, having sold Wesley Hoedt to Southampton, but it appears the interest in him comes from elsewhere in Italy.
“I can confirm an offer came from Serie A, but it’s not from Lazio,” Daum said in his Press conference today ahead of the Borussia Monchengladbach match.
