Antonio Conte has warned prospective rival Coach at Milan Pippo Inzaghi that: “To be a footballer is one thing, to train is something different.”
Inzaghi is set to be confirmed shortly as Clarence Seedorf’s replacement on the Rossonero bench, which would mean a dugout reunion with his former teammate at Juve.
“I have had the pleasure of playing with Inzaghi,” began Conte in conversation with Rai Sport this week.
“Whilst he also had the pleasure of playing with me, because I was running so much for him and he scored.
