Coach Filippo Inzaghi looks almost certain to leave Milan at the end of the season after a summit with joint-CEO Adriano Galliani.

The Rossoneri had a meeting which involved the whole team staff, from the Coach down to the supporting members of the team, like fitness coach Daniele Tognaccini, physiotherapist Fabrizio Ragusa and osteopath Marco Cesarini.

The meeting was called to discuss the crisis that clamped il Diavolo down this season and still has them down at tenth place in Serie A.

The meeting was called to discuss the crisis that clamped il Diavolo down this season and still has them down at tenth place in Serie A.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi was asked to give the team a boost and show the qualities that led the board of directors to give him the bench.

The player-turned-Coach mentioned in his defence the numerous injuries experienced by the Rossoneri in 2015 and the challenges posed by the personalities of some of his players.

But the justifications failed to impress Galliani, and the paper claims that a poor result against Verona next Sunday may already cost Inzaghi the bench.

The names touted for his succession include Luciano Spalletti, Antonio Conte and Vincenzo Montella, with the latter reportedly already the object of an offer.
