“I expect this to be a very difficult match, as Fiorentina have a lot of quality in their individuals. I know Pioli well and he prepares games the right way,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

It’s a reunion for Inzaghi, who was in charge of the Lazio youth team when Pioli was on the main Lazio bench.
“We studied Fiorentina carefully, they are very aggressive and always take the game to their opponents. I learned a lot from Pioli. We were side by side, training at different times, so he’d often let me sit in and watch his sessions.
“He’s a good person and it was a pleasure to talk to him about football. We would regularly have lunch together and I have fond memories of him and his staff.”
The Aquile had won nine competitive games in a row until the derby defeat to Roma, then drew 1-1 with Vitesse in the Europa League on Thursday.
“I got the response on Thursday that I was looking for. The derby was very disappointing and I spoke to the team. We went through this last season, now we must get back on track with great determination and humility.
“We must be focused, play with determination and humility. We’ve got to get ourselves back on track.
“Ciro Immobile didn’t play on Thursday, but he was just rested and will play tomorrow. We don’t have the test results yet on Luis Nani’s injury. That was the only off note against Vitesse. We play often, train less and consequently are more prone to muscular problems.
“I hope to have Wallace and Felipe Caicedo back perhaps tomorrow, while Felipe and Nani should return relatively soon.”
