“Ever since I first took over, fans have been stopping me to remind me how important the derby is,” Inzaghi admitted on Tiki Taka.

“It’s a game apart in the League, we’ll try to do our best but we have difficult games against Genoa and Palermo first. I know how important it is, since I’ve been in Rome for a long time.
“I’ve been at Lazio for 17 years, I know how important the derby is. We’ll try to give great satisfaction to the fans against Roma.
“We’ll try to give them the satisfaction that’s been missing for some time.”
Former Aquile Coach Stefano Pioli will be the new Inter Coach, and Inzaghi was asked for his opinion.
“Inter have chosen very well, I had the chance to work with Pioli for a year-and-a-half when he trained the first team and I was in charge of the Primavera.
“He’s a competent Coach and he did very well for Lazio. He’ll bring tactical innovations to Inter, working day and night.”
