The Aquile still have the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final to play with Milan and are joint sixth in Serie A with a game in hand.
“There are 11 Serie A rounds to play, plus the Coppa Italia, and we’ll try to see out the season in the best possible way,” the Coach told reporters at an event in a University.

Simone and brother Pippo were both Serie A strikers, represented Italy and became Coaches after hanging up their boots.
“My brother and I had a family that insisted we continue our studies, even if it was difficult due to the sporting commitments we had. My parents pushed me on to my diploma and wanted me to do even more, but I just couldn’t manage both.
“I had a few problems with being a professional player in my first two or three years. That’s because in the Primavera squad, you are surrounded by people your age, then suddenly stepping up to the next level, you’re dealing with 30-year-olds.”
Inzaghi also began his management career at Lazio’s Primavera youth team, but was promoted as caretaker when Stefano Pioli was sacked and impressed enough to keep the role full-time.
“At Primavera level, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to make mistakes and learn, but the objective was always to get as many young players as possible into the senior squad.
“I had the chance to work in Serie A and will always be thankful to the club and President Claudio Lotito. We former players at times after a great career have these assumptions, but it’s necessary to study, learn and develop.
“I’ve been helped by working with a group of wonderful professionals at Lazio over the last three years.”
