Immobile was dropped against Inter midweek after he raged at Inzaghi due to his substitution during the Parma game, but the striker rushed to the touchline to hug his Coach after the goal today.

“Really, there was too much attention given to that incident. We sorted it out immediately and these things happen in all teams, it’s just he did it in front of the cameras. All we needed was a glare and he got back on track.

“Ciro had an excellent performance today, but that is not unusual.”
