Inter directors will sit down with coach Simone Inzaghi in the coming hours to discuss the plan for 2023-24, including pre-season friendlies against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and PSG in Japan.

Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport report Inzaghi will soon meet club directors to learn the club’s plans for the future and highlight his priority for the new season.

Inter directors have already scheduled a meeting with Chelsea to discuss Romelu Lukaku and André Onana, but there is more on the plate for the Nerazzurri.

Stefan de Vrij is expected to sign a contract extension, while Inzaghi wants to keep Francesco Acerbi, who joined the Nerazzurri on loan from Lazio last summer, becoming a regular starter at the Stadio Meazza.

Journalist Vincenzo D’Angelo wrote on Tuesday’s printed edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (page 37) that Inter’s 2023-24 campaign will start on July 10 with physical tests at the club’s training centre. The Nerazzurri will spend part of their pre-season in Japan, flying to Asia at the end of July.

According to the report, they have scheduled a friendly against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on July 27 and one against PSG at Tokyo’s National Stadium on August 1.

It will be their first meeting with Milan Skriniar, who is set to join the Ligue 1 giants on a free transfer.
