Inter are seemingly ready to sell Denzel Dumfries after only one year this summer in order to retain their other key players.

The Nerazzurri are no strangers to sacrificing full backs and many have been sold in recent years in order to fund other moves, such as Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic. Inter are hoping to sign both Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku this month and it’s impossible for them to do so without making a sale elsewhere.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Inter are ready to sell Dumfries this summer and two clubs in particular seem keen: Manchester United and Bayern Munich. No concrete offers have arrived yet but that’s expected to change in the coming weeks, with the Dutchman being valued at around €40m.

Nerazzurri stars like Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni have both been linked with high profile moves away from the Lombardy capital this summer, so selling Dumfries may be enough to retain the pair.

  1. OK, I’d sell Dumfries, if others stay and we get Dybala and Lukaku. Maybe Darmian is right replacement. Inter would be still strong enough for CL places.

  2. Hakimi the speedy and scoring wingback was sold after 1 season. Subsequently, another speedy and scoring wingback, Dumfries, even plus good header, is near to be sold after 1 season. Now they are close to sign Raoul. No idea what Marrotta’s thinking

  3. Dumfries is average at best. And it is a wet dream to think he can be sold for 40m. Clubs are not idiots, if Inter receives and offer of around 25m it should be more than enough. He cost 13m and they pretend 3x his value? He was not even a top performer, he was abysmal in a lot of matches
