Luca Castellazzi is facing a spell on the sidelines after the Inter reserve successfully underwent surgery on Monday.

The shot-stopper went under the knife after he dislocated his left shoulder in the Coppa Italia match against Hellas Verona on 18 December.

The former Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”23″>Sampdoria player had the procedure carried out in Milan by professor Alessandro Castagna. Inter chief medic Franco Combi was also present.

Castellazzi could be sidelined for two months. Inter have been linked with a January swoop for Chievo Verona man Stefano Sorrentino as a possible replacement.
