Inter are in pole position to net Tigre wide attacker Ruben Botta, reports the Corriere dello Sport.

Directors Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio are said to have already agreed terms with Fernando Hidalgo, the 23-year-old’s agent.

The Argentine will sign a five-year contract that will see him begin his Nerazzurri stint on a €1m annual salary. That will rise on a season by season basis.

Botta will be captured on a free transfer and he will arrive as an EU player given that he is in possession of an Italian passport.
