During the current campaign he’s only played three games and Antonio Conte seemed annoyed yesterday when he was asked an update about his centre midfielder.

“We have been trying to do something and give continuity, but we see no results and the player is still unavailable,” the Italian tactician said.

Conte spoke about Sensi’s fitness also before the Nerazzurri’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar on October 26 saying that the exams that the player underwent did not highlight any kind of injury although Sensi was still feeling pain.

Sensi played his last competitive game with Italy on October 7 but picked up a new muscle injury at his left thigh immediately afterwards.

Conte and Inter hope the 25-year-old will return to action after the international break.

The player has not been called up by Roberto Mancini for the upcoming games against Estonia, Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina and will remain in Milan to train.
