Reports suggest Inter will move for Roma defender Kostas Manolas in the summer.

The Greek centre-back has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, but the Giallorossi refused to sell him in the summer of 2016 due to a clause in the deal which brought him from Olympiakos.

Had Manolas been sold before September 1, 2016; the capital club would have been forced to hand half of the fee to his previous employers.

Had Manolas been sold before September 1, 2016; the capital club would have been forced to hand half of the fee to his previous employers.

That clause has now expired, however, and Sky is reporting that Inter have made the 25-year-old their primary defensive target.

Manolas would be an attractive option for the Nerazzurri due to his Serie A experience, and Sky believes that tentative contact has already taken place with his representatives.
