Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter has not just allowed him to rediscover his scoring touch, but also show a completely different side to his game that was never tapped into by Manchester United or Chelsea.
The Belgium international undoubtedly seems to be happier in Serie A and it may well be because of the way he is handled on a tactical level.
He did not find the net last night in the 3-0 win over Spezia, but did provide an assist for Lautaro Martinez and was involved in the second goal from Hakan Calhanoglu too.
Opta note that Lukaku has provided nine assists in his last 18 Serie A appearances.
In comparison, the same player did not register a single assist in his most recent 63 Premier League games.
You do, but Conte used him the best= no doubt
Reminds me of how Mourinho used Eto’o to draw defenders and open up other players to score.
Only time will tell if Conte used him better or Inzaghi. I bet on Inzaghi as he is using more attackong tactics.
@All-Inter, agree with you 👍
