The Pole’s contract with the Partenopei is due to expire at the end of next season, and reports suggest that talks over a renewal have broken down.

Milik is liked by current Inter director of sport Piero Ausilio, who tried to sign the striker in the summer of 2016.

However at the time the Nerazzurri were hamstrung by FFP and Milik instead moved to Napoli, who brought the Polish striker in as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who had moved to Juventus.

FCInterNews. It suggests that Inter could now move for Milik, as it’s believed that the club won’t attempt to sign Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez permanently.

Inter would hope to sign the player at a reduced price, with only a year left on his contract.

Milik has scored 46 times in 109 games for the Partenopei in all competitions since joining from Ajax.
