Inter strikers Edin Dzeko, Joaquin Correa and Lautaro Martinez scored one goal each in their national teams’ World Cup qualifying games.

Dzeko scored his 60th goal at an international level in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 1-1 draw against France at ‘La Meinau’ Stadium. His strike from the edge of the box gave his side the lead before Antoine Griezmann’s equaliser three minutes later.

Argentinean pair Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa imitated their experienced teammate by scoring one goal each in the Albiceleste’s 3-1 win over Venezuela last night.

Lautaro broke the deadlock just before the break, making the most of a through ball by Giovanni Lo Celso. El Toro linked up with Leo Messi and Correa in the second half leading to El Tucu’s goal from the edge of the box.

Correa, Lautaro and Dzeko have been included in Inter’s Champions League squad list along with Alexis Sanchez, while Martin Satriano was left out of the squad by Simone Inzaghi.

  1. VeronaInter 1-3 (Lautaro, Correa, Correa), Venezuela – Argentina 1-3 (Lautaro, Correa, A. Correa). Both Correas (north and south :P) scored after they went in field as reserves.
In the picture all scorers with legendary Messi. 🙂
