It is claimed the purpose of Federico Pastorello’s trip to England will be to act as an intermediary on the Beneamata’s behalf.

Pastorello will then liaise with Inter President Steven Zhang to see how much more his club are willing to offer.

However, the sources stress they are in no mood to bargain with the Red Devils and will only make a formal bid once they are sure it will be accepted.

Juventus also remain keen on the 26-year-old, although they have to sell Paulo Dybala before they can finance a deal.

United have let Lukaku train with former club Anderlecht so that the rest of their squad are not distracted by the speculation.
