Sneijder needs rest to recuperate, so Inter are reportedly angry with Dutch manager Bert van Marwijk for calling him up for a friendly against Turkey on November 17.

The Nerazzurri are certainly not alone in their fury, as Arsenal are angry that Robin van Persie has been included despite only recently making his comeback from two months on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Bayern Munich are also livid that Mark van Bommel is in the squad regardless of his fitness problems.

The German club was already furious at the long-term injury that Arjen Robben picked up on international duty.

"I only take responsible decisions but I don't have this job to make friends with the clubs of my players,” said van Marwijk.
