Inter are preparing their final contract offer for expiring midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, but there’s still distance between the two parties.

The 29-year-old Croatian midfielder has been one of the most important players in coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad this season, starting in all 25 games, but he is currently set to leave the club at the end of the campaign, with his contract expiring in June.

As reported by Calciomercato, Inter are preparing their final contract renewal offer to Brozovic; a multi-year contract worth €6.5m net per season, including easy to reach add-ons. Further add-ons, which are more difficult to achieve, could be included to further raise the figures.

The Croatian midfielder, on the other hand, wants a fixed €7m net per season contract and so there is still distance between the two parties. The club will not increase their offer any further, so now the ball is in the Nerazzurri midfielder’s court.

In recent weeks, Brozovic has been incredibly calm and open to discussions, something that’s appreciated by Inter, but now he’ll have to make up his mind before the end of this month.
