Inter will wait three more days before making an official approach for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, it is reported.

Vidal’s situation at Barca is threatening to unravel, with the Chilean said to be considering legal action against the club over unpaid bonuses.

The Blaugrana, on the other hand, believe this is no more than a ploy from the 32-year-old to force through a reunion with Antonio Conte.

Now, Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla writes the Nerazzurri are happy to bide their time, while keeping their tabs on developments at Camp Nou.

It would be similar to how they pulled off a deal for Romelu Lukaku, waiting for the striker to hand Manchester United a transfer request before making their move.

Pedulla adds the Beneamata are ready to offer Vidal a contract until 2022 and negotiate a loan with a €12-13m option to buy, although Barca still want a €20m permanent sale.

Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, writes a €5m salary has already been agreed and that Inter are proposing a loan with €15m obligation to buy.
