Sport Mediaset reports today that their sources have revealed that the San Siro giants are considering a last-minute January sale if a €25m offer comes in.

The outlet says that the striker being dropped to the bench for such an important match underlines his failing relationship with Mancini, who publically criticised him after the draw with Carpi last week.

A sale would come as a big surprise, given that Icardi signed a new deal until 2019 last summer and was also handed the captaincy.

However, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with him in recent months and could make a move.

The 22-year-old has scored eight goals in 19 appearances for Inter so far this sesason.
