Piero Ausilio insists Inter are “not interested” in Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon or selling Fredy Guarin.

The director of sport spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight’s Serie A match with Lazio.

“I speak to Mancini daily and it’s evident that a few changes on the transfer market are hoped for. Mancini has different ideas to Mazzarri, so we’ll see what to do in January, taking many things into account.

“We will try to make him happy and it would be naive for us to not work towards his idea of football.

“However, we must also be realistic. We are limited by the UEFA Financial Fair Play situation, but will try to be strong.”

Ausilio was asked specifically about reports that Inter could offer Colombia international Guarin to Tottenham in exchange for winger Lennon.

“We are not interested in Lennon, while Guarin is not an unimportant player. We believe in him and so does Mancini.”
